Opera with Musica a Palazzo

Have you always wanted to attend an Italian opera? In addition to the expensive Teatro La Fenice, this is also possible at Musica a Palazzo. The unique fact about this opera is the location, because you will be placed in different rooms where the distance between the audience and the performers is very small. This results in an intimate evening with an absolutely original experience. The various rooms in the palace form the stage for the various acts, so between one act and the other you move on to the next, atmospheric room.

Visiting to the opera in Venice

At the Palazzo Barbarigo Minotto you can choose from three different operas: La Traviata (with three acts), Il Barbiere di Siviglia (with two acts) and Rigoletto (with three acts as well). Music is by Giuseppe Verdi or Giachino Rossini. While preparing your trip to Venice, please keep in mind that appropriate attire during your visit to the opera is appreciated, although formal attire is not mandatory. Book this unique experience in advance and enjoy the Venetian opera and the original setting of this palace.

A unique experience in the Palazzo Barbarigo Minotto

Originally, this palace consisted of two separate palaces, the Palazzo Barbarigo and the Palazzo Minotto. You can also see the names interchanged. The palace dates from the 15th century and is located on the Grand Canal in the south of the district San Marco. The two parts that make up the palace were merged in the 17th century. The doors to the palace are inlaid with walnut wood and have bronze door handles in the shape of grape leaves. The floors are also of special architectural value. The various rooms in the palace have a warm feel and have special ceilings.
